Course Description

This course provides an overview of patient safety fundamentals in Saudi Arabia. It focuses on the core elements for cultivating a culture of patient safety. Trainees will take an overview about Patient Safety Journey in Saudi Arabia, explaining how a systems-based approach, emphasizing the importance of avoiding inappropriate blame when issues arise and highlighting the role of effective communication, promoting an environment open to learning about risks and safety challenges and leveraging technology to advocate for patient safety.
